Things to do in Boise this weekend (November 20 to 23)

The holidays are starting up around the Treasure Valley, and this weekend has a little bit of everything, a market, hockey, live music, and the official start of the season at The Village.
Things to do in Boise this weekend, day by day
Thursday, November 20
Start the weekend early at Catalyst Arts Collaborative, where Ladies Night Plant Pots runs from 6 to 8pm, a paint-and-plant kind of evening if you want something low-key to kick things off. If you're after live music, Brandon Lake brings his King of Hearts Tour to ExtraMile Arena at 7pm. And out in Meridian, the season officially begins with the Annual Tree Lighting & Santa Arrival at The Village at Meridian, 6 to 8pm, worth building the rest of your evening around if you've got kids in tow.
Friday, November 21
The Wintry Market opens at Boise Centre, 10am to 6pm, and runs all weekend, so this is a good first chance to get there before the crowds build. If you're looking for something to fill the whole day, Visit Boise's Amazing Scavenger Hunt Adventure is self-guided and runs whenever you're ready to start. And if hockey's more your speed, the Idaho Steelheads take on the Allen Americans at Idaho Central Arena, puck drop at 7:10pm.
Saturday, November 22
The Wintry Market continues at Boise Centre, 10am to 6pm, still your best bet for holiday shopping without leaving town. The Steelheads and Allen Americans face off again at Idaho Central Arena, 7:10pm, back-to-back nights if you want to catch both.
Sunday, November 23
Close out the weekend with Boise State Women's Basketball as they take on UC Riverside at ExtraMile Arena, 2pm tip-off.
